Nefertiti | Acrylic on canvas 2024
Elderly cats are rarely adopted. If they have to re-homed the stress of the shelter environment and anxiety of leaving their homes can be detrimental physically and psychologically. Nefertiti came my way when she was nine because the family she knew since she was a kitten could no longer care for her. I have taken care of her for five years and she has brought many blessings to my life. Instead of adopting a kitten or a puppy, I would urge people to consider adopting an older animal! They may not be around for a long time but you can ensure they know love and affection during the later stages of their lives.
