Blue Vases is a watercolor series that celebrates memory, family, and the beauty of everyday objects. Each piece features flowers or plants arranged in vases, including a Delft‑like blue vase that anchors the collection. Zinnias—beloved by my sisters, our late mother, and me—serve as the series’ emotional center. Their bright, enduring blooms symbolize connection and the ways love continues across generations. Through washes of watercolor, these paintings reflect the joy found in simple, familiar things.
