In my mind, there is no clear border between where anatomy ends and art begins. There is a beauty to be found in the intertwining of the disciplines. To me, the human body is the most wonderful and captivating form of art there is—it serves as a great source of inspiration.

The Fire That Fills My Lungs is my way of expressing the uncontainable passion I have for my two disciplines: art & medicine. They are not separate; rather, they are inseparable. They communicate and complement each other. The love I have for what I have been created to do wells up inside of me like fire and pours itself out as paint on canvas. Hebrews 12:29
