Devine Threads of Creation | Acrylic Paint, 2025
As a scientist and an artist, my work was inspired by the divide between both science and spirituality, though both seek to understand the origins and meaning of life, they are often seen as opposing forces. In this painting The Devine Threads of Creation, a DNA helix emerges from the skies, symbolizing the intersection of the divine and the biological, suggesting that life’s blueprint is both a product of nature and a reflection of something greater. The use of gold flakes within the helix represents the sacred and the immutable, reinforcing the idea that discovery and faith can coexist in harmony. Through this painting, I hope to bridge the gap between faith and discovery and remind us that the pursuit of knowledge can be both a scientific and a spiritual journey. Rather than standing in conflict, science and religion can be viewed as complementary perspectives in our search for meaning, origins, and purpose.
