Megan Pino

Megan Pino is a 7th year MD/PhD student who, along with "scientist" and "future surgeon," considers herself to be an "exploratory artist." She enjoys experimenting with different art modalities and media, seeking to understand and appreciate the unique processes of creation. She and her partner, Niko, have traveled around Columbus to experience the many educational art workshops the city has to offer, such as painting, acrylic pour, glassblowing, ceramics, clay sculpting, wood crafting, and cooking. Her submitted work of art for this year's art show is titled "Stargazing." It is a portrait of her oldest Doberman, Rowena, who she teasingly refers to as her "feral pup" due to her overwhelming love for the outdoors and for adventure. Like her human mom, Rowena also considers herself an explorer!

Megan Pino is a student at the College of Medicine
