This painting was inspired by a film photograph I took during a visit to Joshua Tree National Park in the spring of 2023. I was captivated by the beauty of the Joshua trees and the stunning, pale rock formations. Over the past few years, painting has become a way for me to relax and practice embracing imperfection.

Haley is a student at the College of Medicine.
