Contrary to popular belief, breastfeeding does not often come natural or easy, and I know many women who have cried over spilled milk. 

This piece is dedicated to all the women who choose to take on the additional challenge of providing human milk while navigating the bittersweet fourth trimester with a newborn. As a mother and a physician, I know firsthand this is no easy feat. 

This is a celebration of the inherent strength and resilience of mothers. 

Through vibrant colors, I invite the viewers to contemplate the intimate, life-giving bond between mother and child.
