I love using art to capture my loved ones, so I tried my hand at using acrylics to paint my dog, Poppy (and her signature pink bandana). I generally paint candid moments, but getting her to sit still for a reference photo was a bit of a nightmare. The look of pure joy on her face was not directed at me, unfortunately, but at the treat I was holding up to get her to sit still.

Rachael is a student at the College of Medicine.
