If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out | acrylic on canvas, 2024

All of my paintings are celebrations of color. This piece was inspired by the Cat Stevens song from which the title comes. It is my favorite of his songs, and the colors and patterns are meant to reflect the joy about life and expressing yourself that Stevens sings about.

During the week, I spend my time on the computer as program manager at the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science. Painting is my way of expressing my creativity in a physical form and way.
